From May 12 to 15, 2026, the 26th International Metalworking Exhibition (Metalloobrabotka 2026) was held at Crocus Expo in Moscow. Taizhou Terui CNC Machine Co., Ltd. participated in the event, presenting its EDM wire cut machine product line to the Eastern European and CIS markets.
Metalloobrabotka is the largest and most influential metalworking trade show in Eastern Europe and the CIS region. Since its founding in 1984, it has been held for 26 consecutive editions and now ranks among the world's top ten machine tool trade fairs. The 2026 edition moved to Crocus Expo for the first time, occupying over 75,000 square meters and bringing together more than 1,200 companies from 8 countries (Russia, Belarus, China, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, South Korea, and Turkiye), including 464 Chinese exhibitors. According to the organizer's survey, about 81% of visitors were purchasing decision-makers or influencers, and 65% planned to make purchases after the show.
At the show, Terui CNC presented its EDM wire cut machine covering the DK77 series CNC EDM wire cutting machines, the company's core product line for overseas markets. The DK77 series adopts high-precision V-shaped guide rails (linear guide rails optional) and P3-grade precision ball screws, with standard cutting accuracy of ≤0.02mm and accuracy up to 0.01mm when equipped with linear guides. Surface roughness is ≤Ra2.5μm for single-cut and Ra1.5μm for multi-cut, with a maximum cutting speed of ≥120mm²/min.
The EDM wire cut machine uses molybdenum wire as the electrode wire and achieves electrical discharge machining of metal materials through a high-frequency pulse power supply. It is equipped with functions including end-point shutdown, broken wire protection, automatic centering, graphic tracking display, and arbitrary angle rotation, offering good adaptability in mold manufacturing, hardware processing, and mechanical parts production. The company also produces middle speed wire EDM and large taper models (±30°, ±45°) for customized machining needs.
The Russian machine tool market is undergoing profound industrial restructuring, and the complementary advantages of Chinese and Russian machine tool industries are driving cooperation from short-term trade toward long-term industrial chain collaboration. For Terui CNC, continuous participation in Metalloobrabotka is not only a product showcase but also a strategic layout for the Eastern European market. The competitiveness of the EDM wire cut machine in this region lies in its ability to meet local manufacturers' basic requirements for machining accuracy while offering a clear advantage in both equipment purchase and operating costs.
Terui CNC currently offers a relatively complete EDM product line, covering EDM wire cut machine, EDM drilling machines, die-sinking EDM, and CNC engraving and milling machines. The Moscow exhibition has laid a solid foundation for the company's further expansion into Russia and neighboring markets.
