On May 27, 2024, Taizhou Terui CNC Machine Co., Ltd. announced that its DK7745 high speed wire EDM had completed production testing and was officially shipped to a customer in Tunisia. This is another delivery case for Terui CNC in the North African market, marking the company's continued expansion of its high speed wire EDM in overseas markets.
The DK7745 is a classic model in Terui CNC's DK77 series and belongs to the high speed wire EDM category. The machine features a worktable travel of 450×550mm and a maximum cutting thickness of 400mm. It uses molybdenum wire as the electrode wire and achieves electrical discharge machining of metal materials through a high-frequency pulse power supply. The machine is equipped with a large-slope drainage design, low operating noise, a novel structure, and convenient operation.
The DK7745 high speed wire EDM offers several practical functions: end-point shutdown, broken wire protection, automatic centering, graphic tracking display, and arbitrary angle rotation. These functions give it good adaptability in mold manufacturing, hardware processing, and mechanical parts production. For manufacturers in Tunisia and the North African region, this model provides a pragmatic choice between machining efficiency and equipment investment.
Tunisia is located along the Mediterranean coast and is one of the important manufacturing bases in North Africa. Its automotive parts, electrical equipment, and metal products processing industries have developed steadily in recent years. Local small and medium-sized manufacturers have sustained demand for cost-effective EDM equipment. The delivery of the DK7745 high speed wire EDM provides the Tunisian customer with reliable localized machining capability, reducing dependence on imported finished parts.
Terui CNC's current product line covers high speed wire EDM, middle speed wire EDM, EDM drilling machines, die-sinking EDM, and CNC engraving and milling machines. The export of the DK7745 to Tunisia is another practical step in the company's African market layout and has accumulated delivery experience for further expansion into North and West African markets.
